Hating lawyers is nothing new. The Romans were certainly not fond of their litigators. I think it was Tacitus who said “The more corrupt the republic, the more numerous the laws”
In New York State, the legislature has a bad infestation of lawyers. They are constantly changing the laws to make more business for themselves and their law partners.

Truth is it’s not the lawyers, it’s the people that need lawyers that lawyers represent that gives the whole system a bad reputation
