Ya can never tell in advance which relationships are going to work out… and how…

It is possible Lord Splendid Humility simply isn’t as splendorous as he thinks he is?

Smarten up, Dak-girl. You may have a VERY rare chance of scoring your own highly desirable personal Unicorn like Phobe. And one that is not obsessed with itself either.

Dakota’s “Whatevs” splendidly punctured the Lord’s balloon of humility! :D

Are we sure this isn’t just the Shield of Boringness in effect?

1. In all seriousness this is a small, but good high point for the comic in general is that there’s a reason given for characters not getting excited at the sight of say a Unicorn.

You know in contrast to things reviewed by Linkara and Phelous which have characters giving a subdued response to the unusual (Man who flys or say a genie.) for no reason. “Be impressed!” indeed.

2. Sometimes when I see the abbreviation for Lord Splendid Humility, even though it’s an uncapitalized letter off, I sometimes think of Legion of Super Heroes. Ironic as I follow this strip more often.

With a name like Lord Splendid Humility, she just sees him as a boring oxymoron.

This looks like the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Called it. Not that that’s very impressive.

Now Dakota has a unicorn friend of her own.

I wasn’t expecting this plot twist!

I’m wondering what is giving Dakota all those gray hairs.

I smell a potentially evil spinoff strip…
