It certainly seems to be true as I’ve yet to meet a man capable of multitasking! I’ve also noticed you can really only ask one question in a text, if you want an answer! If I text my dear husband several questions he’ll answer only the last one lol
Yeah, just NO! One task at a time and they all get done right. Multitask and you’ll almost always have to do something over. Motto at work was “Why is there never time to do it right but always time to do it over?”
I had a woman friend who could hold three conversations at the same time – one of them with herself. She was fun, but after a few hours, I would lose track. :)
My Dad worked in the aerospace industry and worked a lot of over time. Mom saw that it was her job to ensure Dad had a peaceful clean home with dinner on the table. She was a master multi tasker. Mom was home with us five kids managing the budget (Dad handed her the paycheck), helped us kids to do household chores, to ensuring we practiced our piano lessons, and fixing yummy food, etc. Dad on the weekends would do the yard work and play with us kids. When mom was seriously ill for about 1/2 a year, Dad took over doing the dinner, laundry, dish washing, dealing with us kids while the neighbors helped out with lots of other chores. When Dad retired, he took over managing the budget, ensured Mom had whatever she wanted and they cooked together having company over all the time. His first and last priority was my mom. When mom started to loose her memory to Alzheimer’s he worked every day with with memory games, etc. till the day he died of a stroke. Couldn’t have had a better set of parents showing me how a married coupled dealt with the day to day stresses of living.
Multitasking is myth, even for women. The brain is truly only capable of doing one thing at at time. We are given the illusion of handling multiple items at one time. Women are better at that.

It looks like he retired but she didn’t. She still does housework.

When he retires, unless a maid is hired, she does even more work.

He’s what Scott Adams calls a “multi-shirker”.

It takes less effort to watch TV then it does to sleep. (based on calorie burn rates)
