“Farside” had a cartoon of a crow with a suitcase with “cares” and “woes” printed on the outside. I had to explain it to my much younger brother. It’s from the same song as this joke. Any youngsters have the same question?

My late husband sang both of those songs often. After he retired most of his jobs were in Nursing homes & Assisted living places & those were songs they remembered & sang along. This is bringing up sweet memories.

What’s kind of weird is that this strip is different from the one in my email.

Am I seeing, left to right: Chairman Chesney, Lily, Oliver and Lily again? I blew up the panels to 200% to see if it was Jellybean….still looks like Lily was cloned.

This comic made me laugh. Can’t wait until next Thursday when they are ragged and funny.

Very clever. I’ve heard this song once or twice, so I definitely get the joke. I hate how members of my generation use “before my time” as an excuse for not understanding anything. Sheesh! I mean, come on, it’s not like we can’t look things up on the Internet or something. On another note, saw a varied thrush and four golden crowned kinglets while out walking today.
