I think that most business people are reasonably sane, reasonably honorable, reasonably likely to agree that other people are important. And not making $zillions per year. This cartoon is about the (I believe) small majority. Who do in fact make the rest look bad.

Never mind the fact that President Biden inherited it from the last President. Why should the republigoons and their sycophants/apologists allow the facts get in the way of a good lie. /s

    Total LIE, Ted.

Businesses have more than enough money to buy every judge — even after buying virtually every Republican* legislator and a few Democrats.

Even a cartoonist should be able to draw better hands than that.

I thought the bought judges were pre-bought before appointment. At least that is smart time to purchase, before the price goes up post appointment.

I have read on my phone that Clarence Thomas is considering retiring (and it’s just a matter of time before Justice Breyer retires). So, it could well be between now and November when Biden will appoint a new Justice for the Supreme Court. Hopefully, this Justice will be confirmed before Election Day and we can rebalance the court a little. And that the Covid picture brightens considerably during the spring and summer and that the Dems (now that they passed the infrastructure bill) can spend their time cutting ribbons and talking up what has been going right on the chat shows. Yes, it looks like the GOP hold all the cards right now. But the Dems (hopefully) won’t roll over and play dead.
