GPS sux. Wait, Google Maps sux. I can’t get anything delivered to my house because google maps sends people to the wrong address. If you put in 163 Ashley Dr. it puts Oaks in there and sends people to 163 Ashley Oaks Dr. which doesn’t exist. Well AShley Oaks Dr. exist but there is no house #163. And you can’t talk to a human being at google to get it fixed. I tried all day. You can’t get a real person at google. I looked up all different kind of ways to get around their phone system VRU but it can’t be done, I tried all the ways people said. So now I get to live with never getting anything delivered. Except Amazon, they use their own maps. But no one else does so I’m screwed.
Many years ago, I purchased a GPS at Walmart. The only map was Japan. I took it back. They didn’t have any other units and I haven’t been to Walmart since.
Never had any problems with mine. And since my dad did not gift me with his navigational instincts & training, I definitely need one. Maps are good if there is a navigator in the car, but I mostly drive by myself (or with the dog, who is no help at all), so GPS is it for me.

Is broom riding an Olympic sport?

I don’t trust any GPS. One took a notary in the wrong direction. Another told a friend to turn right when he HAD to go straight ahead.

Is that Charlie Brown’s kit eating tree?
If so, it’s a nice nod to Charles Schultz, who left us on February 12, 2000.

I use a map then google the directions, then I call and ask for directions—works perfectly every time!

Most vending machine electronic devices would seem suspect (unless I were in Tokyo)….

It’s even worse buying a car from a vending machine…
