Never had that happen when I rode a bicycle. The worst that happened to me, outside of that one bike race that sent me to the emergency room for stitches (and that was only because I was riding someone else’s bike with brakes I wasn’t familar with and didn’t want to damage their bike by ditching it), was having handle bars and a pedal shaft break off. That was why I had to switch to mountain bikes, I rode my bikes HARD and needed something that could survive me.

Time to patch the tire. That way Rerun can ride on a tire that is reused.

The sun is warm, the sky is blue, the air is…out of the tire. :D

A car crash would probably spoil it more.

Rerun looked so content in that second panel…and then…

Mom must have some monster fat tires on that bike for Rerun to sink so low in the last panel.

A glimpse of an adult, or at least her jacket, in 2 panels – a rarity today

Not only did it ruin the bike ride, it turned the sky magenta.

Hitting a pothole in the middle of Union Square would be a bummer too

I’m thinking that if mom had eaten a bowl of chili with some egg salad sandwiches, the ride back there could be a disaster!

Been there, done that. At least I was able to get on public transit to get home with the bike.
