Made me laugh.

He used to switch to another stadium – but it didn’t help.

It seems all the stadiums do their pledge drives at the same time.

As if Government Funding wasn’t enough.

When I worked in radio stations at the bottom of the FM dial, we called them “Beg-a-thons.”

I always give the pledge drive a thumbs down

Wouldn’t the call-in number to be in Roman numerals?

I love how the lion is standing there holding the microphone. Lol!’

They are distracting aren’t they. A perfectly good show interrupted over and over

Those better be Roman numerals.

Too funny

What I loved about the PBS pledge drives is all the left over food. All the restaurants, caterers, etc. provided huge spreads for the volunteers and PBS staff in exchange for recognition for their donation. I was the paralegal to the in-house atty at our local PBS. The next day the kitchen would be over flowing with delicious left overs!
