My mother had open heart surgery, and now has a heart valve that came originally from a cow. And yet nobody appreciates me telling her she’s part cow!

It would be good to extend human life by implanting pig kidneys and hearts and livers and suchlike. It would make eating the rest of the pig almost seem wrong…..

On the other hand, waste not, want not!

Porcine heart valves for at least 30 years now.

Pig: First, you take my stomach for bacon. Then you take my rear end for ham. Now you want my kidneys for transplants. I can’t catch a break!
