Heart almost made a fool of herself by saying “Austry” instead of “Austria”.

I think the term Heart is looking for is “Aussie.”

some call it ‘Oz’ .. that’s even shorter.

Cool, Heart has a pen pal. I am surprised they still do those things via snail mail.

I feel reasonably sure most Australians could figure out “Philly”.

Not if they’re 11 years old.

“Dear Heart in Philadelphia,

Send money."

But then it would’t be a joke…

Heart has an address to the pen pal, and I’m sure there is a city and a state on that address, and Australia is the last line on the envelope address…

This one made me LOL, because it made me think of Africa, when people talk about someone knowing someone from “Africa” and not mention the country, not withstanding that there are 54(!) -fifty four- countries in Africa. I suppose, people know about Egypt, or South Africa, or Ethiopia. Let’s not forget Nigeria…. Can you believe that just recently I heard someone talk about Rhodesia and they did not know that it has been known as Zimbabwe since the 1960’s….

Please go back to the hand drawn stuff.

Guess she’s never heard Australia called “Oz”.

Where in Oz is the pen pal. I had a pen pal in Canberra ACT until his dad lost an election and then he had to move back to Adelaide.
