I saw a phone booth the other day. It was right there on a street corner. I paused to admire it. What amazing architecture they had back when I was alive!
I remember, at the start of the cellphone “craze”, a New Yorker cartoon: a “phone booth” without a phone but with a sign that read “Quiet place to talk 25 cents”.
