The definition of bad parenting

In our house, you could stop eating when you stopped being hungry, but the food was saved for later when you got hungry again.

What the hell is going on here?

Betty, hideous people are insulted to be compared to you. You are bottom of the barrel stuff.

And that’s how you pass on food issues and unhealthy eating to your kids. Also undermining their sense of body autonomy. Way to go.

She knows the proper pellet count for Soylent Green. He’d only had half his pellets.

She is trying to get him to be fat and lazy, increasing his dependence on her.

I don’t like criticizing comic strips, but I really don’t understand what Betty is trying to teach her son.

This whole week has been a great example of how you instill disordered eating in kids.
