Well, safe to say that plan backfired…

Yeah, this is not the first time that Garfield wore a disguise in an attempt to catch something (whether it’s birds or trying to swat flies), only to be mistaken for the thing he was disguised as by other cats, or in this case, spiders. Also, how dumb are those spiders to mistake Garfield for a giant fly? Why couldn’t Garfield have asked the spider to get rid of the fly, like he did that one time? Yeah, I’m asking too many questions here.

The International Cartoon Spider Leg Counting Society will take a pass on this bonanza due to the Easter holiday.

Monday came a day early this week.

I know that this cartoon has a large following so I’ll ask: Are you still having trouble with accessing your comments properly? (Bell in the upper right corner with a red circle and number in the center of it). It’s been almost a week. I’m not going to comment anymore until they get it fixed (Please, keep the applause down…)

The level of absurdity runs unusually high in today’s strip.

A colleague showed me a trick to kill flies – they (mostly?) take off perpendicular to the surface they’re on, so hold your hands apart directly over it, then smack them together and hopefully you’ll time it right and get it. But then you’ll want to wash them…
