I just knew that my Chanukah gifts from my parents, piblings, and grandparents – no silly nonsense about Santa – though my dad did take me to see Santa when I was little and went to work with him on Christmas Eve Day – but I always knew he was not real.
Same way – I knew the horrible treats which could be eaten during Passover came from the store and were bought by mom or grandma or aunt – not brought into the house by an animal – though some of it is about edible as a dog cookie is to humans.
I’m not a pet person, but if I wanted a dog, I’d probably get a golden retriever — a friendly, lovable dog who won’t treat Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, the paperboy, and the mailman as enemies.

I once “blamed” our recently obtained shelter cat of scaring the E-bunny so he just left the basket and the colored eggs on the washing machine.

I must be watching too much over the air TV, because all I could think of in P1 was all the TV commercials I’ve seen for “Xyzal®”
