my long johns are in a duffel bag on an overhead shelf in my closet as are some other winter clothes therein: gloves, scarf, undercoat, stocking cap, a stocking cap which you can attach to a baseball cap, a few pairs of socks
swap my long johns for shorts in dresser, but not yet, it’s only April don’t need the shorts yet…..…. in my case i need the space in the dresser so have one container in the basement for seasonal switching.
For this Plugger, it is officially spring when I put my snowblower and snow shovels away. And that likely won’t happen until about the first on May. Maybe later
For my grandpa, long johns were not tucked away until the 4th of July, then reappearing around Labor Day. We figured the practice was from his Army days in the Yukon and Alaska, during the construction of the Alcan Highway.
Yep, that’s a good one, but there can be many, as cited by others here. One I do is pull the markers from my driveway that guide the snow plow truck and help keep my snow-covered landscaping intact.

I thought pluggers used sweatpants. The same pair every day, all winter long.

Around here you can go from sweatpants to shorts in the same day and back again. I try to avoid heater to AC in the same day.

I thought that I was done with them, but after a couple of weeks of warmer weather, March went out like a lion!!
