Takes me back to the â80s and Simon Bondâs book â101 uses for a dead catâ, and its sequels. There are hundreds of uses for a dead cat. My favourite was the pencil-sharpener.
Hello Poncho: You have a short memory! Only 2 and 1/2 weeks ago you wore 2 cats (one real & one imitation Poo Poo cat) as rubber boots to fetch the newspaper in the rain.
Carpet shredder, hair spreader, tripping hazardâŠI once had a copy of the book, â101 Uses For a Dead Catâ. Apparently, there are far fewer uses for live onesâŠ.
Disappointing to see so much hatred towards cats. Usually found in people who want cats to behave like dogs and canât appreciate them for their beauty, and their loving , but independent personalities.
Several of mine were great for keeping rat dogs out of our yard. More than once saw them riding a mid-size dog out of the yard as it was yipping as it ran out of the yard. Love the YouTube videos of Chihuahuas being put in their places after they bother the cat too much.
My one neighborâs cat is great at keeping mice out of our apartments (the other building in our complex has mainly dog owners and lots of mice). The other neighborâs cat is very affectionate and happy to sit in our laps to cheer us up. Some of our residents have groceries or deliveries from restaurants delivered right to the apartment; those who have dogs have discovered that the delivery people either wonât return next time, or insist on a big tip, due to the angry barking when they ring the doorbells or knock on the doors. Doesnât happen with catsâŠ

Having a purring cat on your lap or just hear you can lower your blood pressure.

I remember my first girlfriend taking my cat and rubbing him across my windshield to clean the dirt, after which that cat gave himself a bath.
