You couldn’t just shut Farley up in a bedroom?

OMG! No! No! No! Did you see the way Anne poured a cup of coffee right in front of Elly and then did not give Elly the cup, when her hand was out expecting the cup of coffee she deserves? So brazen! The effrontery! Anne clearly does not know her place.

Good for Anne, bad for Elly.

Lighten up it’s a comic strip.

Let me guess, she told Steve she would kick him out if he cheated again and then realized she couldn’t pay the mortgage and feed three kids on what she makes babysitting

Looks like Elly just lost a servant!!

At least, with a job, Anne can get away from the kids, the construction noise—and Steve’s philandering!!

This pretty much means the end of Annie in the strip, doesn’t it?

“B-b-b-but, Annie, babysitting Little Apes IS your job!”

This will put everything out of whack for Ellie. She’ll have to pay for someone to do what Anne has done for free. Time to change the routine, Ellie.

The fact that Annie never let on that she was even looking for a job is a really low blow. When someone depends so heavily on another, it’s a basic courtesy to give a heads-up that life as they knew it was going to have to change. Especially with childcare, it’s devastating (I have first hand experience of being the last to know).

It would be ironic if the job she got was as a day care center operator. I mean really. She has the experience.

Two words for Elly to get free labor looking after April: illegal immigrants.

Shouldn’t it be, “I’ve gotten a job”?

She always wanted a real paying job!

Who is Annie going to leave her kids with when she starts work?

Finding a QUALIFIED babysitter is the big problemo.

Is April old enough for day care yet? She’s not potty trained and some centers won’t take children until they are.
