Coming Soon đ At the beginning of April, youâll be
introduced to a brand-new GoComics! See more information here. Subscribers, check your
email for more details.
Oh boy. They sure donât keep eye on April. I sure did when my boys were small. Always knew where they were and what they were doing. I understood how quickly things change or happen when children are not supervised. Heck, extend that to all children of all ages Happens in middle school and high school too. I am a teacher.
What John said was correct. April should have children her own age by now and Elly has to hunt around for a good reliable Day Care. Of course, being as picky as Elly is, itâs going to take some time.
We already know about Aprilâs artistic skills. Remember when she drew all over Lizâs paper when Liz went to sharpen her pencils. John and Elly thought Apeâs âart workâ was so outstanding!
I really like when Lynn illustrates Aprilâs shenanigans because Lynn always takes that one step into the possiblity for the joke even if in real life, a parent or a child minder might have prevented the disasterâŠ
That reminds me: years ago when my kids were of Aprilâs age, we always went to the neighboring park where there were swings and monkey bars and forts. (Some posters might remember the solid steel and wire structures with all kinds of sharp edges. ) It was always full: kids of all ages, and parents who were âmindingâ their charges while yakking with each other, in the days before cell phones, and their kids were injured right left and center. In one case, a girl fell of the top of the slide and an ambulance was called, and the parent was all: âbut I had my eye on her every secondâ⊠Nowadays, Iâve taken my grandchildren there, and the parents are bent over their cell phones, not talking to each other, and the kids are even more rowdier, and they take even more chances than they did when my kids were that age⊠The difference is that over the years that park has been updated, and there is that special padding on the ground and all the structures are âchild proofââŠ

It took me a couple of seconds to realize that was Farleyâs food April was painting with.

Sure hope thatâs dog food.

I thing her artistic talents might be more on the musical side. Just a hunch.

April needed to hear the word no more. If they had made her behave a little, they wouldnât have had to build on to the house.

She has a natural talent for dog food finger painting. That shows a real courageous avant-garde spirit. Orrr, sheâs just a messy kid.

I can only HOPE thatâs dog food.

April is definitely NOT an off-the-wall type of artist.

Good grief! April is a normal toddler.
I canât believe some of you naysayers have children. No one can watch their kids 24/7 and still do important things like making meals!

edeloriea14 almost 3 years ago
Yeah, if that artistic talent involves smearing dog food on the wall!

Aprilâs artistic juices are already showing the result. She needs a playschool, alright.
