I’ve had these days. Not with my mother-in-law, thankfully… I got blessed in that and miss her dearly. My own mother, however… XD
I remember when my oldest nephew was less than 2 days old and she called to rant about how my sister was “spoiling him.” When logic didn’t work (you can’t spoil a 2 day old!), I finally went with “He is her child, if she spoils him, she’s the one who will have to deal with it.” That irritated her enough she hung up on me, then called my sister IN THE HOSPITAL to complain about me XD
