Sort of like 40 some years ago when my office building decided to hire painters to paint the floor numbers in the stair well. First, Second, Third, Forth. We on the fourth floor all got a good laugh over that.

Glutton Free. Well damn. I can eat as much as the next greedy fool if it’s free.

HA! He misspelled MUTTON! What a dork!

    Wait, what? It’s not mutton?

I’ve just been told that I didn’t get the joke, and that I have to tell everyone that he was going for the word Gluten, and that I should apologize and get off the computer…

Sorry you guys… I have to go now.

With the hyphen, I took it to mean the restaurant didn’t allow gluttons. Perhaps it’s an all-you-can-eat type.

A local dining establishment had their name painted on the outside wall clearly visible from the road. “Big Joe’s Dinner” it read.

Even after the extra “N” was painted over and the spelling corrected you could tell that the mistake had been made for years afterward.
