I enjoyed The Time Tunnel. I have the series on DVD. The tunnel complex was one of the best sets ever and the concept was great. A shame some of it was historically inaccurate but that was probably due to the show’s hour time slot. Perhaps they should have made each time switch into two-part episodes.
My first thought, before I even read the dialog, was “That looks like The Time Tunnel!”. Decent show, lots of potential, but did you notice that wherever and whenever they went to, it was always during or just before some momentous event? They never went anywhere where/when nothing was happening. I will admit that a major reason to watch it was Lee Meriwether (as Dr. Ann MacGregor)!

I remember an old cartoon titled “If Time Travel was Real” which showed the long line of time travelers waiting at Ford’s Theater to save Lincoln.

Hey guys, As long as you are doing 60s throwbacks, how about a cartoon or more based on “The Prisoner?”
LOL! You could have Melvin do an encounter with “Rover.”
Think of the Hotel Portmeirion (The Village) as the model for “Hotel California.”
You can check in, but you can’t check out…

First episode of the series was “Rendevous with Yesterday” in which they DID try to save the Titanic. And Captain Smith was played by Michael Rennie.

I remember the episode when they tried to save the Titanic. Obviously that couldn’t work out.

Shouldn’t the Time Tunnel button be only pressed on “Throwback Thursdays?”

If you went back in time and retrieved the iceberg, would that accelerate global warming back then and slow it today?
Don’t bother bringing the Titanic back, it would only confuse those folks and the world back then would believe the ship was lost and no one survived.

That is the only episode of the series that I remember! When I think of the series, that is the one that comes to mind.
