People not addicted to shopping?

Except is now the dollar twenty five store! Pulled that one on us last month…

It’s a $1.25 now.

Inflation is not a mysterious force of nature; it is an unavoidable consequence of the government creating money out of thin air. I heard a newscaster talk about the government’s battle against inflation and I laughed. Now let’s talk about Al Capone’s battle against crime.

He might pass the store on his way. I pass a Dollar Tree (now a $1.25 tree store) on my way to the gym, so if I need something it easy to just go in & buy what I need.

But, then they add sales tax.

Norm…you know, the guy you just did business with?

In my youth, it would have been a Five and Dime.

Someone with just $1?

I bought a comb in the dollar store.the next day it broke.

I remember when a comb was 10 cents. Now they’re $3.

Well it is the Dollar Store.

The clerk has no idea how far Norm came to buy the comb. He could have been at a store next door for something else.

That clerk looks weird as hell (two-faced) in panel three.

you should go to Dollar General then! It’s a much better store! I never liked the Dollar Store.

OUAT we had the 99c store. Then it became the 99.99c store. Now it has items for $1.99, $2.99, etc. Go Figure.

I went into a Dollar General store the other day, it’s now a Generally more than a Dollar store.

I often go in to buy ONE THING, Awesome Carpet cleaner, great for stains on clothing (including blood), bathtub ring, shining up a SS sink, getting the grunge off a stovetop, and…easy removal of bugs on the front of my car. I don’t have any rugs.

Does anyone else remember Dime stores?

Answer: the person who lost his comb.
