And Nike still uses essentially slave labor in China. And So many other companies. How many of you are buying products made by enslaved Uighur people. I stopped buying Nike years ago and anytime I find a stray nike product in my house, it goes in the trash.
I think all that could be corrected if American companies were forced to bring their manufacturing back to America. I don’t expect to put that tooth paste back in the tube, but I really think it would help.
I spent decades trying to buy American, it seemed in a decade it became nearly impossible with shoes/clothes. Still only wear USA made New Balance shoes at $175 a pair. LL Bean & Cabela’s stopped both moved Jeans offshore sadly.
Laymen paying top dollar (to the marketers, not workers) for high-end athletic gear is comparable to commuters/Sunday drivers shelling out for 4wd all-terrain “sport-utility” boxes suitable for hauling elephants across arroyos.

Good strip but Communist nations don’t allow Westerners to go many places unsupervised. A factory would be one such place.

I think Kim started a loud campaign against Nike when she got back to the States.
