TAke a shower, clean out the odds and ends kitchen drawer, take a deep breath and start over again.

pretty much like working with the camera, except that after moving the gear around, I’m just tired and totally out of ideas to do and with back pain and in need to nap and I keep everything there for the next 5 years IN HOPE that I will shoot something ┐(´•_•`)┌

It’s not like a fast food drive-thru, where you just throw a frozen patty on the flat top and put the standard condiments.

You know you’re a real professional when your dreck gets published.

I usually don’t rip up a bad comic, that I’ve drawn. I keep it so see what I did wrong so that I don’t do it again!

Doodle. Everywhere and often. Perhaps you will inspire yourself. Now, how to sort all those napkins and scraps with smudged pencil and smeared ink is up to you. Expressionism?

Your true fans don’t expect your “A” game every day. They enjoy even your comic strips about your mundane daily grind.

It all works out, though – I appreciate reading about your struggles and rough days as much as I enjoy laughing out loud on the funny days.

Sometimes you just gotta walk away for a bit. You can always do one of your ‘taking a break ~ will be back tomorrow’ panels.

That’s the beauty of your strip Amanda..We can all relate to it in some way or another. I just go pet the cats or take my dog for a walk to fend off the need to clean or something.

IDK. I like “behind the scenes” and “this is how we make it” stuff. I watched ALL of the Breaking Bad and Lord of the Rings commentary and extras.
