Nah, more likely Gracie has found a subject she’s not naturally good at. Everyone has at least one, so this is normal.

Why not double check your answers to see where you went wrong?

While normally I’d applaud the attempt to spin it as a positive, this is trying a little too hard. ;-)

That’s more like it. However, that isn’t what she wrote. A teacher student/parent conference might be needed…

Gracie got overconfident. Completing a test in 30 seconds does not mean she completed it correctly. I always tell my students that I do not care who finishes first. I care about who finishes best!

The teacher probably thinks she couldn’t have done it so fast without cheating. Irate Aunt with glasses will soon appear.

Just talk to the teacher about your test.

First test in my Library Automation class included defining the basic computer term RAM. I hadn’t caught that it means “Random Access Memory” and (the class having included some computer history) put “Read Ada’s Memory (and try not to blush)” (referring to rumor-prone pioneer Lady Ada Lovelace). The professor not only didn’t mark it wrong, he put a smiley face on it. He was one of those professors that was more into research than teaching; I have much more respect for the B I got from the Cataloging prof, who was more a teacher, than in either of the As he gave me.

This happens when you speed thru the test and NEVER go back and recheck your answers.
