Why should I wear a mask for the rest of my life to protect people too stupid to get a shot? When the means of preventing your own death is available and you don’t take it, doesn’t that mean it’s your own problem?
I very nearly died of it well before there were vaccines for it, and one of the things that surprised me about it was having childbirth-level pain everywhere. When it’s bad, seriously, you don’t want to go through that if you can avoid it and you don’t want to put anyone else through that.
