It stands to reason that telemarketers would be great about staying in touch with their mothers. By “always”, do you think she means “constantly”?
I bought a machine that tells them if they’re a telemarketer, hang up and remove me from your list. Otherwise press # to leave a message. Since the prerecorded tapes can’t press # the calls have dramatically been less frequent.
Yesterday I started getting robo calls about an I-phone purchase made on my Amazon account. Every fifteen minutes. I ended up with 12 messages on my phone.

That would be a REAL disappointment for a mom… not to mention annoying.

But he can’t call his father because, as we all know, telemarketers don’t have any.

Mom never boast to her friends about “My son the telemarketer”.

Caller ID / voicemail was the greatest invention.
Fortunately, I don’t own a business.
Also I program various rings for people in my contact list. So I know what category person is calling.
I never got rude with telemarketers. I just told them politely that I was not interested and hung up whether they were still talking or not.

We have our answering machine set on two rings. Invariably they hang up. Can’t remember the last time one left a msg even.
