Pavane may have forgotten something. Each bee can only sting once and then die. If her bluff is called, and she has to start stinging, she will reduce the size of her swarm. How will that effect her as a gestalt entity?

Even Sweetheart can be absurdly absent-minded.

We may get to see my twisted fantasy of a chipmunk cheeked Unity.

I’ve haven’t really considered the basis of what Pavane is, beyond what’s been described. I wonder what kind of bees it/they are. Do they have the same biology/ makeup as normal bees. Are they enhanced. Will swatting kill them. Does the sting release a typical bee venom, or is it weaponized or enhanced in some way. Maybe it produces a hallucinogenic response. A hallucinogen would be my hope, for maximum viewing pleasure and excellent artwork and hilarity.
