Amelia has the right idea: it’s not her fault that some tourists are too naive or ignorant to realize she’s selling repackaged stone pebbles they can get at by themselves. Morals has nothing to do with it.

Every summer it’s something new for Amelia, she needs to develop a pyramid scheme with other SH kids on her previous scams. Also needs a rock polisher (tumbler) for “gem” quality stones.

So many tourist places you are not allowed to take rocks or such items. So you buy it from Amelia and the “crime” is on her.

Put a frame around the natural beauty that’s otherwise ignored, and you can give it a value. The tourists are willing to pay to have it pointed out to them, if they don’t scrutinize what’s underfoot on their own.

My cousin has a two story rock fireplace that contains rocks he collected from all over the world.

“Fannie Pack Guppies” would be at least a workable band name
