Why does he always assume things? I’m sure he’s never done research on dogs barking.

Chihuahuas bark a lot because they have inferiority complexes!

If he’s still in her class when his voice changes, he’s been held back a lot of years. You’d have thought she’d pass him just to get rid of him.

“If you want to get someone’s’ attention, whisper!”

Woof!

She must secretly enjoy these little diversions, or she wouldn’t keep feeding him the same straight line.

When his voice changes so will his diversions.

Same reason little guys (like me) learned to bluff about how dangerous we were in high school.

Voice change happened to the actor who voices Augustus on The Owl House. Fortunately it seems to have progressed with minimal problems.

Ah, it’s just one of life’s imponderables . . . like why do people with the worst taste in music play it the loudest?

Dogs bark because they are scared and they are trying to get their master to take care of the issue frightening them. That is the principle behind “Barking dogs don’t bite”. If the dog feels he can handle the situation, he does not bark but rather shows his teeth

Of course, if you scare the dog enough, it will bite out of fear.

The bark is not to scare the thing barked at but to inform others that the animal is scared.

Wolves don’t bark. Their cubs do to get their parents to take care of the problem.

IOW make up for VOLUME with volume.

I’m kinda glad his voice will never change. A Caulfield going through puberty but just as much of a smartass beggars the imagination.

Beware of the dog that doesn’t bark. It doesn’t feel the need to warn.
