Regardless of recent events I hope everyone gets a boost from this holiday, which is special in another way. Other countries also have Independence Days, but it’s a rare nation that still has the same form of government that began it.
I’m torn whether to NOT celebrate because this country is going down the drain, or TO celebrate because this is probably the last year we’ll have an actual nation.

How lucky can he be to get too much pie. I have had lots of really good pie but have never had that good fortune to have too much.
