The store where I buy my “athletic” shoes (I stand a lot) donates clients’ used shoes to a charity for the homeless. Sounds like Frazz could make a lot of people less unhappy.
One of the nice things about being both old and retired (no their not the same thing) is that you don’t care about fashion. Comfortable is much more important.
I read this 4 or 5 times and I just couldn’t get it, so I saved the strip in a separate tab. After going through my other comics, I went into the Frazz comments and no one was asking for an explanation. huh? So, I reread the strip again and noticed that the item mentioned in the last panel was “shorts”, not "shoes. : – / : – )
(possibly, the “shorts” comments here primed my brain to see it.)
