“Pilgrims Land” has to be amended to “Europeans Invade Indigenous Lands”. Of course, the current political Reconciliation proponents won’t be returning to Europe anytime soon…

I figured some of the parents would object to the moon landing because they thought it was faked.

I can see rich people having a vested interest in censoring that information, lest their children have an “are we the baddies” revelation.

The Pilgrims initiated contact with Native Americans. Benjamin Franklin was a white male. A woman sewing is a stereotype.

Also, there’s a substantial fraction of idiots who think the moon landing was faked, but I don’t think there’s much overlap between them and those who object to the existence of Benjamin Franklin.
