Why be mad, when you can be G.L.A.A.D.?

The stuff about folks “grooming” children for a gay “lifestyle choice” is about 99.9% crappola. It’s not a choice, and kids cannot be “recruited” – they either are or they are not. It’s not like they’re barging into young girls dressing rooms or wanting to “date” your daughters. Kids are not even trying to procure your sons and daughters with a Venmo transaction. They are being molested and sexually assaulted by coaches and members of their church but that doesn’t seem to upset the “christian” “conservatives” one lil’ ol’ bit.

On the other hand the fact that kids are being bullied, beaten, and killed for being LBGTQ+, and the “christian” right has no problem with that, mostly because they’re the ones most often doing it and in the name of America, “Family Values,” and even in the name of God is a reality and it is a crime. They’d rather believe in fantasy than examine the reality of what they do themselves.

Let everyone’s private lives be just that, private, just as long as they are not hurting anyone else. And let’s concentrate on those who obviously are actually causing children great harm.

I often – well almost always – wonder why that is so hard for some people to understand.
