“Blue” eyes in all mammals are actually from a low level of pigment in the outer iris, and is actually a form of “structural colour”: a phenomenon where microscopic grooves in a surface distort wavelengths of reflected light to appear blue. The same process creates the blue feathers of many birds. Varying levels of dark pigment within that surface can result in green or brown eyes. People with albinism, who have practically no pigment in their eyes, may appear to have red eyes because of the blood vessel-filled retina being visible through the iris.

Considering the price of movie tickets! D’uh! I am so old, that I remember when tickets were less than $5.00 each.

Tonight I continue my theme of Absolutely True Stories. It’s true, the rutabaga is a personal friend.

An onion, a rutabaga and a carrot are out for a drive when they get into a bad accident. The onion and the rutabaga aren’t seriously injured, but the carrot seems to be in bad shape. 911 is called; the carrot is rushed to the ER. Hours go by as the onion and rutabaga sit nervously in the waiting room.

Finally, the surgeon comes out. “Well, I have good news and bad news,” he begins. “Your friend is still alive; that’s the good news.”

“And the bad news?” the rutabaga asks.

“I’m afraid he’s going to be a vegetable the rest of his life.”

The best Titanic movie was “A Night to Remember” (1958).

I always thought pop tarts referred to the kids on Nick and Disney sit coms…guess I was incorrect, Eh?

Giving Andy Warhol credit is a bit of a stretch, they were named after the Pop Art movement which included many artists.

And mom tarts are loved by the neighbors and the pizza delivery guy.

To show just how Hollywood hides profits, James Cameron said after hearing that Titanic had passed the 1 Billion mark, “if this keeps up, Titanic will be making a profit”

I ate my last Pop Tart a few years ago after a lifetime of enjoying them. Kellogg’s needs to stay out of social influence and stick to breakfast foods.

Where did all the PLAIN Pop Tarts go?Frosting and more yucky frosting—-they’ll kill ya.

Forget the FDA and the CDC. I like 10 seconds of radiation my tarts.

Huh? I’m pretty sure I recall seeing TV ads about 50 years ago showing those tarts POP out of a toaster. It was a new and exciting product. Yuck….

They should have taken the Pop Tarts thing one step further and put an image of Campbell soup on each one.

“Titanic” was still a turkey. A blockbuster turkey.

Because theater ticket prices are always going up, it’s no wonder movies are raking in more and more money. The NUMBER OF TICKETS SOLD, should be the gauge of how popular the movie is, not the money.
