NATIONAL FREEBSD DAY. I had no idea what this was so I looked it up. National FreeBSD Day on June 19th commemorates the launch date of an innovative technology that many of us use every day. While you may not be familiar with FreeBSD, there’s a good chance you’re already using at least some code derived from it in your everyday life. For example, do you stream movies via Netflix? How about chat with friends on WhatsApp? Maybe you play the latest PlayStation 4 game sensation. If so, you’re already using FreeBSD.

There was an escapee attempt this morning. That little orange boy is F-A-S-T. I wish I could let them out into the house but there are just way too many places for them to hide under or behind or climb.

He’s new to square dance calling.

Dogs in parks. I’m not feeling too kindly at the moment. I went for my walk and it seemed the day for bad dog owners to be out and about. In the park closest to my home, we have beautiful flower beds that are several feet from the sidewalk and lots of signs begging people to keep their dogs out of the flower beds. They are planted and tended by volunteers. You can’t imagine how many people I saw purposely walking their dogs through the flowers, doing their doggy business there.

I guess there were already too many messes on the sidewalks that other owners didn’t bother cleaning up, so they wanted to find a clean spot to mess up.

Grrrr. Sorry, had to get that of my chest.

I’m okay now.

Dogs dancing the Lambada. That would really be something to see! On another note, saw two rabbits, four robins, and two juncos while out walking today.
