I don’t have to rule the world; I just have to keep it from ruling me.

Bear with me a moment. Jonathan Edwards (and others) did a song called Sunshine. In the song Mr. Edwards pens the lyrics, “you can’t even run your own life, I’ll be d*mned if you run mine.” I have enough difficulty running my own life, why for crying out loud would I want to rule the world? I’ve no such pretensions though there are those who do. I know myself well enough to understand that were I to try ruling the world, I’d just muck it up…

The ‘grown-up manners’ would be a stretch, and really coffee has no effect on being able to use them, one way or another.

I require .5 liters to be able to function in the most rudimentary manner…

But even then, only if intend to interact with another human. Just for the duration.
