Going to raise her to be just like you?

Everyone grows up to change something about the world; Hence we have jails.

Or, she has to survive being raised by her mother! BTW, is Aunty Acid a poor, close relative to “Auntie Mame”?

I tell people that I “survived four teenagers.”

So you are doing the hard part and the daughter gets the easy part.

Change the world? Into what, a frog? Or is its diaper wet?

I’d bet the future Aunty Acid’s mother told her, “Just wait until you have children of your own!”

That’s what your mum said Aunty.

The problem is she won’t change the world for the better.

What????No tats or piercings on lil AA? Something is not right here!

This was almost exactly my mantra as I was raising my daughter! She is now in the medical field and exceling. She lacked focus and drive for a few years, and I kept hoping she would finish her education and use that brain. She went from hating the word “responsibility” to being highly responsible.

Hang in there. My son who is now almost 60 is the light of my life. He couldn’t be any better than he is. But, I still remember quite a few years in his teens when my highest hope for him was time off for good behavior.

Is she going to change it for the better?

Moth-er! Don’t talk to my friends!

The juvenile justice system here got rid of my kid in the house. YAY! Bad dude!

Huh. This is the first time I’ve heard Aunty mention having a daughter.
