SCOTUS just decreed that informing an arrestee of his or her Miranda rights is no longer required. Next up: reversal of the Miranda decision in favor of Gestapo tactics and sanctification of no-knock murders.
The message here is that the Miranda Warnings are a waste of time. A person accused of a crime is obviously guilty and no effort should be made to protect their rights.
The Republican-controlled Supreme Court recently gutted much of Miranda, and we can be sure will remove the rest of that right in coming years.
