Jon, cats are carnivores. You can’t feed them a salad.

Not the first time Jon had had food on his face, the sunny side up eggs and bacon comes to mind.

I like where Garfield put the fork. Only he should have used the other end of it.

Jon, Garfield and all cats are obligate carnivores!!! They eat meat, but if they eat any veg at all, it’s of their own choosing!! (Mine nibbles grass.)

Must be diet season

We rescued a feral cat that was all skin and bones. Vet said she was a small boned cat and would probably stay small. Within 2 weeks she had gained 6 lbs. and is now on a diet. Not a happy cat and she lets us all know it!

Send it back to the chef! He ordered lasagna with a side of lasagna.

Could’ve been worst for Jon, it could’ve been hot vegetable soup.

Garfield, just add bacon!! Bacon can even make a salad better.

A missing ingredient?

So, when Garfield said that “it needs something”, he actually meant that it needed someone to dump it over the head of, in that case, Jon. And also, Jon, give up! Garfield is never going to willing eat a salad, no matter how many times you try to force him to.

Could have gone worse for him….

The salad needs somebody that will eat it.

Salad is not food. When you go to a restaurant and order a steak, first they bring you a salad. They don’t charge you for it. Salad is just a promissory note. If I go to a restaurant and they bring me a salad I know that if I wait right here, something good will happen soon.

You’d think Jon would realize by now that Garfield does not eat greens.
