But the question remains. When Trump sent an angry mob to congress to drag Mike Pence out and hang him, did he understand that lynching the VP would be wrong? Did anyone tell him that you can’t have your own vice-president murdered for not stealing an election on your behalf? If not, how would Trump know? It isn’t something anyone has ever said to me.
During the Watergate investigation, people talked about a “smoking gun.” Well, here we have a whole smoking artillery division, and still no indictment.
I understand “it’s complicated” to use the evidence which the entire nation witnessed as it aired on national TV and bring up indictments for criminal incitement and sedition after years of insisting elections were not legitimate also on national TV for the nation to witness. Apparently there are way too many t’s to cross and i’s to dot or something…..
Sad thing is that the evidence we have now is plenty enough to be certain that he wanted to subvert the election but not the kind that will work in court. It’s why they got Al Capone in tax evasion.
I heard Canadian novelist Margaret Atwood in an interview recently talking about the creation of ‘The Handmaid’s Tale’. She almost gave up writing it at the start because she thought the whole premise of an America reverting to a model of governance hundreds of years old seemed way too far-fetched to be even remotely believable for her. She couldn’t imagine it being published, let alone read.

There’s no such thing as a bad boy. Give him another chance to fully install a authoritarian fascist regime because that’s what Jesus wants.

I predict that next Friday’s TTDB will deal with today’s Supreme Court miscarriage of justice.

Democrats just do not fight, and now we are watching the country fall into fascism because of it.

If he were Justice of the Supreme Court, Garland would not oppose Roe v. Wade overturn or even write a dissenting opinion.

First the verdict, then the evidence. ;)

If Garland cannot prosecute Trump et al, NO president will EVER be able to be prosecuted for anything.
It’s that goddam simple.
