One Solar Day (Day-Night Day) on Mercury takes about 176 Earth Days – which is approximately twice as long as its year (about 88 days). One point of Mercury is towards the sun for about 88 days and then is away from the sun for about 88 days. It gets very very hot during the day (on the side toward the sun) – up to about 800 ℉. And because there is virtually no atmosphere to hold in the heat, it gets very very cold at night (on the side away from the sun) – down to about -330 ℉.
Kenny should try for the Day/Night divider. There is the possibility of more comfortable conditions within a narrow band. Too far and he’ll be a deeply frozen man.

So, that’s why Mercury was so fleet of foot.

Mercury is tidally locked so only one side faces the Sun. On the opposite side, Kenny would freeze.

Mercury does not sound like a great place for a vacation. Maybe Venus?

I’d rather listen to Freddie Mercury.

Reminds me of the old skit “The First Man on the Sun,” but somewhat less ridiculous.
