Cats are always in vogue.

Today is:

NATIONAL CAMERA DAY. I can’t find my camera. I haven’t seen it in several months. I have no clue where it is. I’m sure it is somewhere in the house, but that doesn’t help much. I take all my pictures with my phone now.

Having pictures of kitties in Vogue would be more interesting than pictures of people models.

Vogue has become a celebrity (human) magazine. It’s like “Us” now. No room for anything as tasteful and stylish as cats.

They’ve all gone to ’Elle.

I haven’t read Vogue for many years, not since I canceled my subscription when they (and several other magazines) began promoting violence against women to sell clothes. I remember there was one picture of a man punching a woman in the face, another of a Doberman biting a woman’s leg, another was a series of pictures of a man chasing a woman down a pier and beating her and throwing her presumably dead body in the water, another of a crying woman on her hands and knees groveling at the foot of a sneering man.

For those of you who don’t remember, or are too young, it was Guess jeans that started that trend and made a fortune. It continued because it was very successful.

I’ve never read Vogue and I probably never will. I’d rather read something about cats. (Or other animals.) On another note, saw two juncos, Three Towhees, two rabbits, and a robin while out walking today.
