Mine is 7 years old. Runs like new. 24 more payments and it is mine!
That’s joke….I bought a used Nissan Leaf 5 years ago. Nobody wanted those funny looking EV cars back then and I only paid $9,750 at the dealer. I put in a charger. The car gets the most usage in the family because it is so cheap to run. Just have to remember to plug it in at night. The little car is FAST off the line but the range is only 87 miles. The new ones are better but now $$$$$$$.
My car is a well-maintained 1999 Toyota 4Runner SE with over 290,000-miles. I didn’t buy it new, I purchased it in 2001 after it came off of a lease. My 4Runner has been with me thru 3-moves and multiple long drives up-&-down the east coast. I won’t give her up until she can no longer work.
In the 1960s it was considered it was wise to trade in a car when t was 3 years old. American made cars were lucky to make it to 10 years/100,000 before being junked. The reason Japanese cars started dominating in the 70s was Detroit (NOT the workers fault) was producing inferior cars on purpose-Pinto/Vega/Gremlin/K cars… were designed to be *^@%.

My Ford is 13 years old and still running well. The body is starting to rust away though.

I always liked the Jetson’s car better than the Flintstone’s.

At least Fred Flintstone isn’t complaining about the price of gas. But that car-tipping Big Bronto in the opening scene costs a lot more.

In 1986 I bought a Honda CRX-HF two seater Hatchback that got 54mpg. I put 625,000 miles on that car in 20yrs before I sold it.
