I’d call it ironic for vegans. But then, I’m not one.

If people are vegans because they think the taste of meat is immoral, then it’s ironic.

But most vegans admit the taste is good, they just avoid meat because of the moral implications of killing animals for their own survival.

Me? I’d eat a baby. I ain’t got no qualms.

The meat I eat came from vegan animals.

If I want meat, I eat healthy meat. Free range chicken, grass fed beef, venison, bison and wild caught fish. I try to avoid “factory farm” meats. I eat plenty of vegetables in their natural form. I am leery of the process the vegetables need to go through to “taste and feel” like meat.

If we weren’t meant to eat animals, then why are they made out of meat?

Cows have been making vegetation taste and look like meat for millenia.

Really? No one’s gonna compliment me on ending a ‘vegan meat’ cartoon with the phrase “neither one or the other”?

Sigh. I do work so hard for you. Some days, I worry that you don’t read all the way to the last panel.

One of those situations for which the phrase “It is what it is” was made.

In France it is now forbidden to give vegan food names that are used for animal based food. Unless the name has been in use for a long time like almond milk you can’t use the word milk for soy juice, or call false meat patties steak or sausage. That way people know what they are buying. When you hear about people feeding soy juice to their baby because it is called soy milk so it should have the same properties as real milk, you understand the need to put a different name.

If it’s not meat or milk it shouldn’t be labelled meat or milk, in any spelling.Anyway, how the hell do you milk almonds? And whydo the vegans eat stuff that’s even called meat or milk?
