So far the tortoise shell kitten is the bravest one. The black one is the most timid. The tortoise shell was the first one to actually play. I got a little video of it.

Today is:

NATIONAL SUGAR COOKIE DAY

I could have used tad on my walk yesterday. I saw some birds that I could not identify as they flew overhead. Maybe he could have told me what they were. I did identify some plants – the daylilies, the Queen Anne’s lace and a LOT of milkweed. And a little giant ragweed. I also saw 2 monarch butterflies.

That looks like a Scottie, and they will take no guff from a mere cat.

Staff? We don’t need no stinkin’ staff!

The little black kitten got adopted yesterday. The couple who adopted the orange boy last week (PetCo employee and her husband) said he was lonely and needed a playmate. Which is exactly what we tell people!

So, now I just have the orange girl that I’m baby sitting. Her new mom will be here Monday to get her. She’s lonely in there but Moose spends hours with her. Once I’m done doing my chores this morning and am ready to just sit and read, I’m going to bring her here into the den.

I’m not a dog person, but I just adore this little Scottie — so cute. She can come apply for a job at my home. I’d hire her.

How can she turn down such a cute little Scottie dog? It’s almost as if they didn’t want help at all. On another note, saw nine robins and a rabbit while out walking today.
