My recently passed away mother-in-law (she was 92) was doing flips off a diving board in her ’80’s.
How long can you tread water, Gran?
I don’t even want to know all the places it can hurt when doing a cannonball from roughly 100 feet up. There’s a reason cliff divers try to enter the water as straight as possible.
There’s a small lake near Lake Tahoe with a cliff like that. Teenage boys, mostly, dive and jump from it.
Especially since she didn’t intend to go in the water in the first place!
I love the unknown escape mechanism.
