Around here most start August 8! What happened to starting the Tuesday after Labor Day and getting out May 31? The good old days.

From my childhood experience, that’s a younger sister for you!! My oldest sister was different.

Telling Hammie school starts in a couple weeks would have done the trick.

School starts here Aug 17th.

Did you account for weekends, mornings and evenings? That’s harder to do, but more accurate and gets you a significantly lower answer.

The USAian school year is only 180 days long. Japan is 220 days, Australia 200.

Know your audience…

That would do it. Where I live at teacher’s are getting classes ready, this coming week last week of summer break, the schools start on a Monday 15th and for me I go to orthopedic for next x-ray on femur first fracture left leg, then I messed up and bone broke, this x-ray going with caution. I have been so very careful. I hope bone together so I can get started on therapy. No cast no surgery.
