I’ve always preferred to say it the other way about: “The early worm gets the bird.”

The early bird gets the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.

Worm: I’m hungry too, doc. Any idea what you’re having?

doctors a snake in the grass I’ll tell ya

Here’s another: “Beware of birds in shrink’s ‘clothing’.”

He really does get you. Before any other birds.

I’d let him go. Referrals are better than a one time visit.

I rest my case. Psychiatry is for the birds.

And the worm is his breakfast!
