Ok, I have been there sort of. Not with nails and not on the receiving end. But I learned early to style female hair because my Mother tolerated and encouraged my efforts. Came in handy in College. Had to pick customers carefully. Ones that were not too flashy in what they wanted and would keep reasonably quiet since styling hair was really pushing the boundaries of ignored Dormitory enterprises. Plus I wasn’t licensed or “Officially” trained.
I don’t care HOW MUCH it would make happy! I’d NEVER let my girlfriend paint my fingernails! Tell her if she wants a female, then go get one! And if she got angry, OH WELL!
Before Medicare paid my podiatrist to cut my toe nails (I’m a diabetic ), I went to a nail salon. They always asked me what color of polish I wanted. I always replied: none.
I draw the line at my girlfriend painting my nails. My 4 year old daughter, was allowed to do it. It was a very fun day, though she wasn’t very neat…..
While my brother’s family was visiting, I did nail painting with my about-to-turn-7 niece. I made the mistake of letting her do my fingernails (instead of my toes), and boy, was she enthusiastic. =P I took it off a few days later after they left—which took a while, with the thick glitter topcoat, lol
I had a couple classmates in High School who had a relationship like this.
He had to be waiting for her outside the classroom door when the Bell Rang. Meaning he had to sneak out of His classes early.
Then, he had to sit with her in our classroom until the bell rang while she practiced Makeup techniques on HIS Face. Then, when the class start bell rang, run to his class still wearing the makeup.
Her former football player father Hated the guy and tried to break them up. She said H3ll No. They got married right after graduation. She told all their friends that she had Ordered him to get her pr3gnant so that her Father could not object.
Last I heard of them, it was 8 years later and they were still happy together. She Said Jump. He said “Yes Ma’am” and they both loved it that way.
Oh, and she was one of the two most beautiful girls in the school. The Entire football team hated him But, they were also every one of them afraid of her. She’d never been seen to harm a fly, but, she had that Look in her eye …

Seeing as they appear to be in Estella’s bedroom, showing that the door is clearly open was probably a deliberate choice…

I had a girlfriend who gave me a manicure. She never suggested nail polish… she just wanted to get rid of my rough cuticles.

The craziest nail art I saw whilst driving the bus was a Goth guy . His nail art was black gloss with little luminous green skulls.
